Terms & Conditions

1. About InterFusion MEDIA

Sales and services covered by these terms are provided by David Horton, trading as InterFusion MEDIA, a sole proprietorship (“IFM”). InterFusion MEDIA Inc. is maintained as the marketing brand.

2. Website information and quotations

Our website presents products, services and project ideas. It currently operates on a quote-first basis without direct online checkout. An enquiry does not place an order, reserve equipment or confirm an installation date.

Equipment selection, compatibility, availability and installation requirements are confirmed for each project. A site assessment may be needed. Your written quotation identifies included work, exclusions, pricing and acceptance steps. Please request clarification before accepting.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars unless expressly stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and agreed delivery, travel or other charges will be identified before acceptance.

Payment is due in full before equipment procurement unless different arrangements are agreed in writing. Interac e-Transfer is preferred. Follow your quotation or invoice instructions and include its reference number. Verify unexpected changes to payment instructions by calling IFM.

If a saved-card or later-payment option is introduced, it will require separate, specific authorization explaining its permitted use. Paying an invoice or accepting a quotation does not, by itself, authorize IFM to save a card or charge it later. These safeguards do not remove applicable consumer or cardholder rights.

4. Availability, delivery and scheduling

Our primary service focus is southern Manitoba. Other locations and remote projects are considered individually. Delivery arrangements, charges and timing are confirmed for each order. Installation is included only when expressly listed in your quotation. Pickup, where available, requires confirmation.

Availability, site readiness and project requirements may affect scheduling. We will discuss material changes with you. Equipment substitutions require your approval.

Please report delivery damage, missing items or incorrect goods promptly and retain packaging or photographs where practical. This does not shorten statutory rights or applicable warranty periods.

5. Installation and project changes

Please provide accurate project information, including access restrictions, known site conditions and relevant electrical or network requirements.

Work outside the agreed scope, including concealed conditions, additional cabling, electrical alterations, structural work or repairs, may require further assessment and a quotation. Changes to scope, equipment or charges require agreement before the additional work proceeds.

Connected features may depend on suitable power, internet access, compatible devices and third-party services. Subscriptions and ongoing services are included only where expressly agreed.

6. Cancellations and returns

Contact IFM promptly to request a change or cancellation. Return eligibility, cancellation conditions and any agreed costs will be disclosed before you accept an order.

Custom or special-order equipment may have restrictions on change-of-mind returns, as identified in your quotation. These restrictions do not remove rights relating to defective goods or remedies provided by law. Contact us before returning equipment so we can arrange appropriate handling. Prior RMA approval is not required to give a valid statutory cancellation notice. Legal rights and deadlines still apply.

7. Warranties and support

Manufacturer warranties vary by product. Relevant coverage, including duration, when coverage starts and material conditions, will be identified in product information or your quotation before you accept. Any additional IFM installation or workmanship warranty must be stated in your written agreement.

Manufacturer coverage does not automatically include every installation, removal, travel or service cost. Separately chargeable work will be explained before approval is requested. Contact IFM with your invoice reference, product details and a description of the issue. Manufacturer terms do not replace IFM’s legal obligations.

For Manitoba consumer purchases, failure to complete product registration does not remove warranty protection provided by law. We will identify any registration process or optional registration benefits separately from those rights.

IFM is your contact for warranty and return-material-authorization (RMA) coordination with the manufacturer or supplier. A manufacturer’s RMA process does not replace IFM’s legal duties. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the required remedy may include repair, replacement or refund.

8. Privacy, applicable law and updates

Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Enquiring or purchasing does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.

These terms are governed by Manitoba law and applicable Canadian law, subject to consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Updates apply prospectively and do not automatically change accepted agreements. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
