Who is responsible
InterFusion MEDIA Inc. manages our newsletter and marketing communications. David Horton, trading as InterFusion MEDIA, operates our quote-based sales and services. Each is responsible for the personal information it handles for those activities.
Information we collect
When you contact us or request a quote, we collect information you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, community, project requirements and correspondence. Newsletter information includes your email address, any name you provide, preferences and consent records.
Our website and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and delivery records. Depending on enabled features, email reporting may include opens and link clicks.
How we use information
We use information to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, provide requested services, maintain business records, protect our systems and meet legal obligations. Newsletter information is used to send updates, product information and promotional messages you choose to receive.
Requesting a quote or buying a product does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. We obtain consent where required and explain materially different uses before proceeding.
Payment information and future card options
Do not send full card numbers, security codes or images of payment cards through email, enquiry forms or ordinary document uploads.
If IFM introduces Stripe card payments or a saved-payment-method option, we will explain the payment processing before you use it. Card details would be entered through Stripe’s payment fields. IFM’s own records would use processor references and limited card details, such as the brand and last four digits, without retaining full card numbers or security codes.
Saving a payment method or using it for a later charge would require separate, specific authorization. Before you agree, we would explain the purpose, permitted charges or how they are calculated, relevant timing and how to withdraw permission for future use. Payment, account creation, quote acceptance or product registration alone would not supply that permission.
Please do not send passport or driver’s licence copies with routine quote, order or warranty enquiries. If identity verification is necessary, contact us first. We will explain what is needed and consider less intrusive verification before requesting a document copy.
Your email choices
You can unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. We process requests without delay and within 10 business days. Necessary communications about your requests or existing services may continue.
Service providers and disclosure
We use service providers for website hosting, email delivery and business administration. Brevo processes newsletter contact information and related records on our behalf. We limit disclosure to information needed for the service and take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protection.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it with your consent or where permitted or required by law. Some providers process information outside Canada, where local laws and lawful government access may apply.
Cookies and other websites
Website features and third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser and available website controls. Blocking cookies may affect functionality. Linked websites and embedded services have their own privacy practices. Optional analytics or advertising tools require appropriate notice and consent where applicable.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, legal obligations and legitimate recordkeeping. Limited consent and unsubscribe records may be retained to respect your choices. We take reasonable safeguards against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No electronic system is completely secure.
Access, corrections and concerns
Contact us to request access to or correction of your information, withdraw consent or raise a concern. We may verify your identity and explain legal limits on a request. Withdrawal may affect services that require the information.
We update this policy when our practices change and seek further consent where required.
